After climbing the cinematic ranks in such films as Mimic, Six Ways to Sunday, and 8MM before landing the role of gun-toting, butt-kicking Irish brother Murphy McManus in Boondock Saints, actor Norman Reedus added thirty-four more film credits to his resume in the decade leading up to the long awaited sequel, Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day. Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day Movie Trailer – Trailer #1
Wednesday, September 2nd, 2009IGN premiers the trailer for Troy Duffy’s The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day, which will be released by Sony’s Stage 6 Films in limited theaters on October 30th.
The film is the continuation of Duffy’s tough, stylized cutting edge saga of fraternal twins, the MacManus brothers (Norman Reedus, Sean Patrick Flanery). The two have been in deep hiding in the quiet valleys of Ireland, far removed from their former lives or modern technologies. When word comes that a priest has been killed by sinister forces in the tough underworld of Boston, they return to mount a violent and bloody crusade to bring justice to those who must now suffer the consequences, with a new partner in crime (Clifton Collins) and a sexy FBI operative (Julie Benz) hot on their trail!
2009 Comic-Con: Boondock Saints II Interviews! Trailer Premiere at Comic-Con
Sunday, July 26th, 2009A great follow-up to my interview with Cliff Collins Jr. was this weekend at Comic-Con where I got to meet and sit down with Billy Connolly, Norman Reedus, Julie Benz and Clifton Collins (again).
Sitting in the hotel suite I got to chat with with Pappa MacManus and he explained to me a little bit of his character in the next film and that we’d get a backstory for Pappa “Il Duce” McManus.
“His background is explained and its very closely related to Peter Fonda’s character.” According to Connolly his character grows up with Fonda’s character known as The Roman and they end up going separate ways.
Peter Fonda was not at Comic-Con and maybe we will have a chance to talk to him sometime but the backstory between him and Pappa seems very interesting.

Fans can look forward the world premiere of the trailer for the panel on Saturday, July 25th at 3:30pm.
